PSC Insurance Brokers has agreed to acquire MA Insurance Brokers, effective 23 June 2026, strengthening its transport and logistics capability and expanding its presence in Queensland.

The combined business will operate under the new brand PSC Transport Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd, a dedicated offering focused on delivering specialised solutions for transport and logistics clients.

The move brings together MA Insurance Brokers’ strong experience and established client relationships in the transport sector with PSC’s national network, broader placement capability and expanded insurer relationships, providing improved access to Australian and international insurance markets, along with additional support across risk advisory and claims.

The business will be led by Barry Mathison and Mariann Illyes, ensuring continuity for clients and insurer partners. Clients will continue to be supported by their existing account management teams, preserving long-standing relationships while benefiting from expanded capability and market access.

“We’re pleased to welcome MA Insurance Brokers to PSC Insurance Brokers. Their strong client relationships and experience in the transport sector complement our existing offering and further strengthen our presence in Queensland,” said Karl Truijens, PSC Insurance Brokers CEO.

“Joining PSC Insurance Brokers provides a strong platform for continued growth. With the scale, market access and backing of the broader group, we are well positioned to expand PSC Transport Insurance Brokers through further acquisitions while continuing to deliver for our clients,” said Barry Mathison.

The acquisition reinforces PSC Insurance Broker’s strategy of building sector-specialised capability and positions PSC Transport Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd for continued growth, including through targeted acquisitions, while maintaining a practical, client-focused approach.
